One of the most influential guitarists to emerge during New York’s avant-garde loft scene, Michael’s ability to span musical genres was best captured by one reviewer’s depiction, “Musical Mercury.” The brilliant technique on electric and acoustic guitars demonstrated throughout his 40+ year career has influenced other 6-string greats as Bill Frisell, Vernon Reid, Brandon Ross, Elliot Sharpe and others.
