Uganda native Gideon Ampere sings and plays a variety of East African instruments, including Kenanga (zither), Adungu (harp), and Kalimba (thumb piano). Guitarist Mike Cardozo, bassist Roston Kirk, and Kade Parkin on drums join Gideon to create intense grooves, joyous dance beats, and dreamy textures.
