The Bing Arts Center is working on our latest fundraising initiative, set to kick off on December 1 – known nationally as Giving Tuesday. #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration, helping nonprofits to receive donations during the season of giving. Have a way to record video, a kitty (or more!), and want to help the Bing? Just shoot some video of your kitty for us to use in scenes in our upcoming fundraising promo, and upload it! No video? No problem! Send us a still photo instead.

Just take a video of your kitty on something dark, or a fairly even background without extraneous items and send it to us. If you want to send a photo, then any photo will work just fine – no background requirements.

We’ll be using the kitties as a metaphor for joy, light, positivity and creativity (all things good that make people happy!) set against the darkness that a unused theater house can bring. We’ll be pretending that the dark background is in fact the floor of the theater so it’s important that it looks that way as much as possible. Videos shot horizontally in landscape orientation are preferable.

We will be thanking you along with the kitties in the credits (unless you’d like to remain anonymous.) Spoiler: (the kitties do live, don’t be alarmed!)
